The company was originally formed in the early 1990s as Chewton Glen Aviation Limited, an aviation consultancy and aircraft delivery business. Re-formed in 2008  the company now operates under three divisions:

Aviation: The aircraft sales and aviation support division operates under the trading name "Chewton Glen Aviation". The company keeps aircraft in inventory as well as brokering sales for third parties. Aircraft leasing may also be available, subject to eligibility criteria.

Marine: Since 2009 the company has also operated a marine charter division, trading as "Chewton Glen Marine". Charter services are managed through Solent Rib Charter.

Consultancy: The company also offers professional services, including sales consultancy, management consultancy and Board related services.
